Well, we made it to Tarbert with no traffic problemsand the conditions in the harbour were perfect, no wind and not a cloud in the sky. We had the boat to ourselves thanks to the threat of the golf traffic keeping everyone away

The lst dive was on the Garden, an absolutely beautiful dive with 100s of huge starfish. The reef starts off at about 13m and slopes down to about 18m then turning to a steep muddy slope. Very pretty but unfortunately Gedan got a terrible leak in his drysuit cuff and because it was our anniversary and I was having such a good time taking pics, he put up with it for 43 minutes without telling me. He was almost hypothermic when we got back to the boat![]()
This is a picture of a Scotsman trying not to look cold - check out the water in his feet.
Malcolm cooked us his speciality of fresh scallops with bacon and cheese for lunch on the way to the 2nd dive site. mmmm
I dived with Malcolm on the 2nd dive as Gedan was knackered with his drysuit problem. All in all it was an excellent day and we saw the hull of the new boat while getting our tanks filled. It is massive and he reckons it will make Ireland in 2 hours which should open up a whole lot more diving opportunities. Can't wait.
