darkbuster hid torch

Used the darkbuster for the first time last night at the caves :D it's bright,can you have a torch that's too bright?,when checking guages it half blinds you so what i did in the end was shine it on the guages to make them glow then checked them.

We did 2 dives at the caves last night 40 mins/61 mins and it conked out when we were getting changed so not a bad burn time,i'm really happy with it as to be honest looking at it in the box it looks like it should be worth a fiver from lidl :eek:,you can imagine what Elaine (SWMBO) said when i showed her what i'd spent £250 on :rolleyes:.

Underwater though it's like a searchlight :D

shine the torch not on the gauges, but to the side of them, this will help you view them.
heard a lot about the darkbuster, all good reports so far.
the spec also looks good, but seeing it in reality is better than reading about it.
so guess i will have to wait until tomorrow to view it in the 'flesh' rather than looking at it on the internet & finding out that darkbuster are actually an american punk band.

A very bright torch, the only downside is your buddy sometimes suffers from welders "flash," but I'll be fine in a couple of days.....
