Any recommended shore dive sites on the Kintyre peninsula please?
Stonefield Reef (http://www.congeralley.com/sites/stonefield.htm) looks good.
GerryO mentioned Ard na Cross Bay in the viz report thread. Is it easy to find/navigate? What is there to see?

Shore dives - BISCO 9 & Breda & Charlemagne for wrecks
Port Righ, Carradale harbour & reef for scenic

No would be a simple answer to that.
Actually yes you can shore dive the Breda.
Gareth this is a different Breda to the one in Oban - located just out of Campeltown.
Very prominent bow but the rest fairly broken up, worth a dive though. Mebbie a 5 min swim on surface to the wreck - not buoyed though so need to work on transits.

Well I've got some divesite description for all these sites sitting on my PC including three sets of transits for Breda - info from various sources. Only diving in that area I've done is off Tarbert.

Do you find that sitting on your PC gives better search results? I'm quite traditional, I just tend to sit in front of mine. :o (Sorry: I'm in cheeky mode tonight :eek:)
