looking at the dive site map i think stallion rock may be indicated in the wrong place.
i have added a blue arrow as to where i believe it is.
the other blue arrow indicates pennymore point (you cant read it on this small pic).

anyone agree or disagree?

Never dived Stallion Rock, but every description I have read of it puts it between Pennymore and Kenmore as you have shown.

You're spot on Stewart, I'll get the Lat & Longs for you from the plotter later (its p***ing down out there right now!). For those diving Pennymore Point, start from the southern tip of the Point, drop into about 5m then follow the reef line on 210 degrees, depths drop off to 20m+ to the "left" side of the reef/rock wall. Good place for CBL's and AAS drills with the depth and the wall side for ascent rate reference.

hey DT,
i have dived pennymore point from a boat but never from the shore.
have you dived from the shore & if so, where did you park?

We don't do it as a shore dive as such (coz there is no parking) but we have dropped a team off on the shore with O2 etc and gone back to Strachur launch site for the next team.
