Hi everyone,
Although I'm new to Conger Alley, I have always organised the trips for a whole bunch of divers from 3 to 4 different clubs, (BSAC and Padi) and the odd lonesome diver for the last 3 years.
I have a trip that has been booked for two years and have now 2 spare places on a liveaboard to Scapa Flow for one week in September this year from the 11th to the 18th (Saturday to Saturday). The group is mixed, and the spare places are for 2 people sharing a double bunk room, so its ideal for a buddy pair for both men and/or women.
The trip was so sucessful in 2005 that half of us are doing the trip again, the other people going are from other clubs, what I'm trying to say is that we don't all live in each others pockets and don't know each other well, the only thing we have in common is diving - the only thing that matters! We're a friendly bunch and range in ages and gender!
Anyway, enough waffling, the trip is with www.scapaflowcharters.co.uk
it is £277 each, excluding the travel up and ferry crossing (approx £30 return) and breakfast, massive cooked lunch, board, weights and air are all included. The cook on board - Ronnie, is very entertaining and his homemade cooking is fantastic! you'll never be hungry! Nitrox is extra (very reasonable rates!) and we go to the local town, wherever that may be on that night, for the evening meals.
The boat stops off at a couple of different islands over night to view other dive sights and its really good fun.
If you would like to have more info or would like to go, please let me know as soon as you can!
Thanks,
Fiona
