Hopefully site descriptions for these sites will be uploaded soon. If there is enough interest and I can arrange a boat I may even set a trip up to do both one saturday/sunday in the better weather. Unless someone has their own RIB and they want to take it to North Berwick to launch.

These are now posted, see:

Craigleith (http://www.congeralley.com/sites/site_Craigleith.htm)

Bass Rock (http://www.congeralley.com/sites/site_Bassrock.htm)

I have put information on Dive Safari, with whom the skipper of the boat I have dived with works. I have also dropped an email to him to request setting up a few trips if anyone is interested. Once I know more I will post a proposal for an expedition.

In the meantime, any comments on the site description are welcome, since they are the first I have produced for the site!

These are great descriptions, Chris. :)

We've long been lamenting the relative paucity of east coast sites in the directory so it's excellent to see this being redressed.

I for one am absolutely gagging to do these dives!

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Charlie, glad they are appreciated. I am desperate to get back to diving these too.

i think we used dive safari last summer to both those sites, was a cracking day out. Not to early a start either and the sunwas splitting the heavens. We had enough to fill his rhib twice so had a good service interval with enough time to go and get chips!!!!!!!

Ah yes Bass Rock!! I would like to do it again and actually see some life this time. My First experience was of being caught in a current and drifting for 3/4 of a mile on the opposite side to where we went in for almost3/4 hours. Scary stuff:eek: Buddies on the rhib were 'this close' to getting the coastguard. Luckily it was a beautiful day and i just floated on my back, suit and stabby full of air, watching the birds milling about above my head, trying to stay calm! My buddy drifted a fair bit away from me after removing the buddy line he had put on me, so I was scared, but thought, if I panic I have had it. He thought I didn't realise how serious the situation was. As if:eek: Anyway I lived to tell the tale and am still diving:)

Yeah just got an email around 1500hrs telling me links had been approved. Its pretty strict here.....Had to wait on approval once registered, and then wait on approval once I want to submit valuable information...I suppose there are security reasons for this, so I dont have any problems, it may be worth notifying you (it probably does and I missed it) when you post things like this.

Now I know what to expect the next time I do some site guides.

Thanks All

IF we don't approve links, then the porno spiders will cover the site in XXX links ... ;)
