Can anyone tell me what these are like to dive?

Are they due west of the jetty in 12 to 15m as G Ridley in Dive W Scotland Vol 1 says and the diagram in Clyde Shipwrecks by Moir & Crawford suggests?

Would they be worth a visit if you were diving around Little Cumbrae or are they uninteresting?

never dived it myself Alex, but i think i know the one you mean.
i thought it was in deeper water myself but i could be wrong.
the banking in front of the lighthouse is a sheer slope down to around 30m+
if you think you can hit them in 12-15 then it must be worth a go no matter how interesting they may or may not be.

So worth looking then?

Some club or group with a RIB/ private boat could look - maybe Daytona 12 could persuade his buddies to look one one of the club trips.

The only info I could find is in a tentative divesite description in the Directory. Feel free to update if you dive this site - especially to say if you find nothing and exactly where and how deep you dived.

Ridley says two 40m barges - but, as we all know, some of what he says is rubbish. Moir & Crawford putting a mark on one of their handdrawn charts makes me think that the barge(s) do exist.
