Just a quick heads up regarding Carrick Castle dive site. If anyone intends to dive there could they please let the Queens Harbour Master know on 01436 674321 and ask for the Clyde Harbour Master. Was out with our club today and had a visit from one of the MOD PLOD in their rib. As there is a very small jetty which is MOD property (even though its hardly if ever used) the Police would like divers to inform the Harbour Masters before diving within the vicinity. More for our safety incase they are hurling about in thier Rhibs.

There was some discussion on Finstrokes about a wreck that used to be at Carrick Castle, off the pier, which the Navy moved.
Last time Dumbarton Scot SAC dived this site - last year - they found a 15m wreck in about 15m depth to the right ie south of the pier. Sorry I can't be more specific about the site of the wreck.

Sort off 1 or 2 oclock from the pier
