I'm keen to dive on Thursday evening (Conger or Caves). Anyone want to join me?

I am happy to dive Thursday evening.
Work in Glasgow City Centre, can leave anytime after 4.30 with car ready to go.
Conger or Caves suits me :)
It's gonna be cold and frostie, so let's say Conger (stream in access pipe to caves a bit nasty when frozen). How about meet at Conger Alley layby at 5.30pm?
If i get let down by intended buddy thursday daytime would you mind if i tag along too?

I have had the dreaded lurgy for over a week now. Doesn't seem to be abating:( I'm off to London next week with my grandaughter so I hope it has gone by then:rolleyes:. Then i can think about diving again:D

Where are the A frames?
Head West, on the north edge of the Clyde either past Helensburgh (unless your coming from Alexandra and the A82) get onto the A814 and drive north of Garelochhead over the hill and down towards Loch Long. As you level off level with the Loch you'll see a hard standing large layby on the left by the loch just north of a pier. Park up there and walk in to the loch. Its a gentle slope down and goes deeper than 25m, with concerite legs scattered around which once supported a peir? They now lie on the loch bed fallen over? and are home to different life. I seam to recall a red phone box but it may have been removed.

Kit all packed and ready to go, and the bloody painters arrived this morning to paint our patio doors after our burglary last year.
Now the doors have to stay open till the paint dries and I can't go out the house.:mad: (Mrs Yogi's working.:()
I was really looking forward to it too. Had managed to wangle my work to suit and everything.;)

Not being allowed any annual leave this month due to workload so will miss Thursday's Kintyre dive, also looks like I'm working late Thursday so won't manage. :mad: Oh the boss still manages to get his leave this week (but he knows jack sh*t about the job anyway so is of little use), I'd even have managed to bring a drysuit this time :D. I'm meeting a mate Dave at A-frames on Thursday 17th at 8pm. I can't make it any earlier as I have a 2 hour drive from Edinburgh.

Going to be held on at work tonight so afraid I'll have to bow out.
Any one fancy the Kintyre on Thursday night? High water is 5.30pm so onsite around 5.30 and in the water for just after 6ish, tide should still be reasonable for exit. Some deco will be required!

Nice Thursday night dive at the caves. Visibility 0 for the first 10 meters then cleared to about 4 meters. No sign off Beryl. Over all a very nice relaxing atmospheric dive. Particularly liked switching the torch off and watching regthings Silhouette hovering above the rocks. Apart from falling on my bottom on the way in:blushing:. Cheers regthing great night :thumbup1:
