Two short but good dives on the Two Piers tonight. Met Tomytwotums at Pitstop. Lovely crisp evening. Calm water, high tide. Usual sea loch life including dogfish, scorpionfish and a big conger.
Definitely got this site sussed now. To hit the remains of the wreck follow the 14m contour leftwards (towards the top of the loch) from the Piers. Reef is 20m further on from wreck.
Pint in Balloch House (I thought it was called the Coach House) afterwards.
17.1m for 30 mins and 16m for 38mins. Temp 11 degrees below 5m. Definite thermocline at 5m - chilly above. Viz 3m with torch.
