Gannets

In a middle of a dive at Conger Alley last Saturday myself and Jim was startled by a couple of birds that swam past us at 12 mts :eek: . I am guessing that these were probably Gannets??

Was just wondering if anyone out there knows if this is likely or if it could be a different kind of bird altogether?

If fairly big and white then probably gannets, if dark coloured then probably cormorant or shag (or techie gannets!)

Almost certainly cormorant or shag then, they can go a long way down for birdies!
