I finished installing the gallery last night, btw. You can access it through the Site Navigation panel on the Portal page for now. I'm not convinced that it's 100% stable either .... log any probs in this thread.
I've allocated a user allowance of 10meg for storage. So it's really just to show a few photos each, for discussion, illustration etc.
Please note that Conger Alley is not liable for any third party downloading your photos and using them for any purpose.
There is a watermark function in the software. If you guys want that implemented (i.e. the images would have a watermark on them when viewed or if someone downloaded them), let me know.
So, if you're interested, have a play with it and let me know what you think.

No - I'm not happy with the gallery, so I've taken it down. More work required there I think.:mad:
With a bit of help from Chuck at Photopost, I think the Gallery should be working now :o
If you find that you navigate through to it and it doesn't pick up your registration right away (ie no Welcome Gord, etc in the registration box), let me know. Try hitting the refresh button on your browser, and this should take care of it. But do please let me know if you experience this slight glitch with the cookies.
Maybe I should take it down again before Ding gets back from the Red Sea and turns us all green with envy ... ;)

I've changed the security settings on the Gallery so that only registered users can view a full image. i.e. unregistered third parties can only see the thumbnails. This way we can reduce the possibility that someone will publish your close-ups of clyde sea mice in National Geographic without paying you the appropriate royalty ... ;)

How about loading a couple into the gallery?
And how about an account of your exploits in the Red Sea? What was the best dive for example? can you recommend the liveaboard? If so, how about putting their link up in the Directory with some comments? Just so we have it there as a resource for the future (in time all these current threads will get recycled into archives, but if we want to hold onto a link or recommendation, the best place is the directory).
Otherwise don't mind me ... Just trying to get you guys to use the feckkin features I bust ma baws to acquire and install :rolleyes:

Here is a link to the grand sea serpent Its an ok wee boat and the crew were

It was the best diving trip except it would have been brilliant if it was the crowd that went last year
Each dive had something that made it amazing, corals, drop offs, sharks, turtles, morays, mantas, oh and nudies the only thing I didnt see was mermaids:)
