I know F All about them really, well I know what they do but that's about it. This is what i want to do, so what do I need and has anybody any idea how to set it all up.

I want to be able to fill my 2L or 3L CCR Cylinders with O2 and Dil (Air or Trimix) from a J (for O2) and from a 15L for Dil (Air or Trimix). I'm not going to go down the blending my own Trimix as it's not worth the hassle when I can get a 15L of 18/40 for £26.00.

So I want to Boost 02 and Dill to 200bar into my 2l or 3l cylinders.

I'm looking at either of these boosters

I just get a couple of tins filled every 6-8 weeks or so and decant off that. I'm not sure how long they last but I've done a week of gas diving out of a couple of 12's and no booster. I looked at getting one but then I looked at how much hassle my mates have with them and thought it's not worth a grand. You still need drive gas so regular trips to the shop and keeping a tin in test (or get a LP compressor which is more stuff), they always seem to be buying parts for them, I just figured for a grand plus the cost of the hoses (don't think any come with them) plus maintenance plus drive gas or a compressor then it was going to take a lot of pumping cylinder dregs to make the money back.

There were some cheap Chinese pumps on Ebay not so long ago, I think a few people off RBW were using them. Another mate "acquired" a hand cranked Draeger pump that had been chucked in a skip, he fitted a little leccy drive on it and it runs fine.
