Hi guys
Just a reminder for the uys on the tx courses. We have accomodation at easdale B&B on the 15th May, with dinner booked for 8pm.
Tracey runs a great place with facilities to dry your gear after the Slates.
Plan is to dive Slates on Saturday, go to Puffin for fills then head to Easdale quick wash up and head to the pub for dinner....and off to bed early :D:rolleyes:;)
Price is £35pp, breakfast is normally between 8-9, so i bit of a lie in.
Top Bob coming up on Sunday, will call Trisha tonight to see if we have any space left.

Iv provisionally booked the Rowantree hotel in Oban for the 22nd May for those doing tx & tech Nx dives on 22nd at slates and 23rd at easdale quarry.
There are 3 double rooms at £70 per room for:
Myself and the boys
Tommy & the girlfriend ;)
Bob & Liz
Also a sinlge room at £50 for Alastair but i could always change it to a double if you have any plans ;);).
Let me know if these prices are ok.
We have stayed here a few times before, rooms are good and a steak house style restraunt with bar downstairs and right in the middle of town.

David Ainslie does air fills in Balvicar, it's only 10min up the road. Might save you a trek to Puffin and gambling that your number comes up on the slot machine and get a fill over 200bar.

He is based in Balvicar, runs the Porpoise, the website has his number. I'm not sure where the compressor is or if he still has it, the Porpoise was berthed in a new looking slip just before Balvicar stores when I passed a couple of weeks ago.

Fair enough, you mentioned going to Puffin in the OP. I didn't think they did mix.
They do, but state on their website they need advance waring for anything more than the odd fill. Wonder how much they charge though :eek:

Yeah a few of us found that out on a Buit trip a few years ago when we needed some nitrox/o2 tops for the deco bottles. Phone well in advance.
Well, never realised they did mix, just checked the website and right enough, helium is listed at 18p/10l. Never even gave it a thought, always either used Mark at Lochaline or took what I needed.
hi guys thanks to the lovely bob, we have a great bargain on accommodation
3 Twins £45 per room and £35 for a single. Sat 22nd March. Just pay on arrival.
