I'm posting this on behalf of Sports Diver
He seen it whilst snorkling in the Red Sea and reckons it was 5 foot long with large eyes.

Thats a 5 foot long, big eyed black fish is that! quite common and regularly confused with the 4.5 foot long big eyed Black fish!:D
im no expert but is that not an old wet suit boot fraying at the top :rolleyes:

i am sure this fish comes from very deep water in the red sea ie the large eyes:eek:i think it was thare hunting fish and me i have sent em to woodshole and others but no reply:confused: yet.

I thought the size was optimistic but they can grow up to 7ft.

:confused:nop do not think it is any of them its eyes are about 5" dia and the tale is flat it had a very wide mouth sorry about the poor pic,yes the tale comes out its bum :D
