I want to put a panel on the home page to showcase the best current and recent threads and blogs. Sometimes good stuff drops out of the "Recent Threads" panel quite quickly and then gets lost immediately. Basically depends how many new threads are being created in any given week.
The "Top Stories" (or whatever we end up calling it) panel will reflect the best of Conger Alley for the past month or so.
So ... in order to get things started ... any suggestions for threads or blogs or site guides that you've enjoyed recently? Please post your suggestions in this thread and once we've got a few suggestions I'll create the panel.

Thanks for any input :)

c,mon!!!!

suggest one thing you've enjoyed reading or writing in the forum/blogs in the last month or so. There must be something decent ... unless Jack's right and we are deadly dull
I'm gonna vote for myself and my dive addict blog ... and maybe the LMAO thread obviously ;-)

Not an extensive search, but I did have a scan and a lot of threads are to do with events that come and go and aren't of that much interest once they've gone. I liked your chat about the shark and rocking boat in the red sea - was that recent enough?

Alternatively T2Ts household bugs and jellyfish thread was good - if creepy - and JBs thread today of how to fail at a rescue is interesting

I kinda thought training and or kit advice might be good for new readers, etc, but didn't really see many I thouight were fundamental - 6 pages of which torch might be interesting if you're in the know, but I'd think would confuse a newby as much as inform them.

Hoi !!

Oh well , fair enough ;)

There was quite an informative thread about the pros and cons of various weigh systems a awhile back I recall , amongst others.
Probably quite topical again in view of recent ScotSac rulings.

JB's thread on people talking about rescue breathing, CPR and the learning that might come from it to others.
