And thanks to Loudy for his help and also Bob.

Beware of the metal grating which takes you into the water, It is very corroded and damaged my otter and put a hole in it.:(It is getting on a bit now 7 years old my suit.

Well done all. Didn't join you cos I reckoned a bunch of DR Trainees would screw up the vis something rotten.:p
Me and Scubadoug dived Conger Alley instead and got 5M vis.:)
Glad you had a good course. Hope Ian didn't give Lindz too much of a hard time.;)

I was dreading it thinking the water would have been freezing, but It was not too bad. Loudy and Bob even done a dive, I would have joined them but I sprung a leak:rolleyes:

Thats good to know, I'm taking some Glasgow Uni Students in for their first open water dives on Sunday and was expecting it to be freezing above and below the water. The forecast is looking ok weather wise and if the water is not too bad it will make a nice day. Obviously with a quick visit to the village inn afterwards :)

It was fecking cold in the shallows at Conger on Sunday. My head was sore as I descended but felt much better at 10M until I discovered that Scubadoug wasn't with me so had to go back up to the surface. Plonker had forgot some of his weights so I had to wait for him to fetch it from the car before we both went back down through the cold stuff.
Still, we had a good dive and kept below the halocline for our stop.:)
Trouble with the early start was, the pub wasn't open yet when we finished!!:(
