Ya Bute

Has anyone got info on dive sites around Bute and Inchmarnock? I,m thinking of going there next year and wondered if it was worth while lugging my dive gear along?

You could try PM to Gerry H in the members section - he said in his intro that he mostly dives at the Kyles of Bute.

If you have access to a boat, there are many great sites ... including wrecks in the clyde and shore dives off cumbrae ... dunno much about shore diving off bute , but i bet there's some nice wee bays ...

let us know if you discover any best kept secrets ... ;)

The Isle of Bute has wonderful clear visibility so if you see an interesting area just dive it. There are some sites there but as there appears not to be a diving club they are not defined. Diver mag did an article a couple of years agao about diving there worth checking out.
