Bit dark, may need to buy a strobe after all - but probably not

Some great pics there Peter.
Strobe is no good for video obviously !!
Must press on with my patented LED video dive light invention.

I like the diffused flash - quite simply it works when the undiffused one doesn't

Looking a lot better than the old Sony already! Not seen the vid yet (at work no youtube...how rude of my employer!)

The same seller does a double tray, so you could easily double up with light and strobe or two lights.

Might invest for next year now, although I have a few purchases to make before that!

Didn't you have a tray already for your macro lens?

No its just a lens extender, not a strobe/light tray. Although it can work with the tray also!

Hey Chris , how you doing.
The tray / arm looks OK , although I was thinking more of a bespoke assembly with Lithium Ion or NiMh , sealed battery pack built in.
Full of great ideas - just too lazy to see them through :O)
I have a feeling the LED video lights you are looking at will be a bit disappointing though , 200-300 lux isn't very bright and I suspect whey will have a very narrow beam angle.
Decent LEDs are expensive unfortunately and I reckon you need about 20W to get decent illumination for video.
Anyway , got to go and drown a few trainees now.
catch you later.
JB.
