Thats the divesite description in scottish divesites now. I still have to do an underwater map but there is enough info to get to the site and enter the water. There are a few pictures showing the entry/exit and parking. Also a couple from underwater...

Theres no doubt which is which between triple reef and gortien point now...

Go to the scottish divesites at the top left of the homepage and whats new...

Interesting stuff, guys. :)

Looks as if the site that our club always thought was Gorton might actually be Triple Reef (although I'll have to check the telephone pole numbers to be sure)!

Am I right in thinking that Gorton is a wall as opposed to a complex of reefs then?

Gortien is a reef at the top which turns into a small wall and gets bigger as it goes down to 50m. I will update the U/W map to show more detail....

I'm pretty sure I dived this site at the beginning of the year, but have it in my log book as Gortein Point, not Triple Reef. Is it the one with the death defying entry down slippy rocks?

Gord - you were there, you buddied me. Remember the tigger hood?

Both have slippy rocks look at the the divesite descriptions, at the pictures...
and tell me which one you dived....

I've posted a link to CUSAC drawing of Triple Reef on the 'links' part of the divesite description - thanks to Stewart.

Cheers Alex that saves me doing a U/W map just now I can do it later. But if there are any cartographers out there this would be a good challenge.
