Gas Team BBQ-Meeting

Hello guys,

Had a good response to forming a Gas Team in central scotland......

So Friday the 24th of July I shall be holding a BBQ at my house, the condition's are bring your own booze and bangers. It will kick off at 7pm

The meeting is open to all with an interest in helping to form the gas team and doing deeper and more demanding dives as part of a team. Any level of diver can join in, training can be given at any level.

This autumn we are already doing a few deep wrecks off the east coast and the HF in october near Oban. Next year we will be heading over to Ireland to do some of the deeper wrecks off Northern Ireland around the 40 to 80 mtr in good viz. I will be looking at doing a expedition to a deeper wreck at the end of next year, more details once we are granted permission.

There is already a good core of 8 experienced divers, so we are looking for more to make the larger expeditions possible and grow into a good strong team.

Yes, thanks to Ian and Lindz for having us over, good chat and good laugh watching the drinkers :). Hopefully a good future ahead for the Gas Team, there's plenty I want to dive this year and next and with a big enough team, we won't have to post trips up to get them filled.

Clear reefs??? you must be frakkin joking, it's winter time here.

It is amazing how we acclimatize, even 16C is freezing cold. The dry suit is coming out.

Nice to here the Gas Team is coming along well, I would have liked to have been part of it. The thought of taking some wide angled shots of sunken subs is very very appealing.

I wont be back in the UK for at least a couple of years, if not more.

I'll stick with the shitty dives for a while, might squeeze a couple in Bali in September, and I'll defo be diving Ningaloo next Easter.

Then there is always the pool in the garden.....

Got a sister in law lives in Perth keeps inviting us over, missus well up for visiting her sis . Me I just want to see Western Oz water. Everyone I know goes East to Townsville to dive the Reef.

to be honest, perth metropolitan area isnt that good, nor deep.
Rottnest is nice, but unless you have your own boat it will cost you.
Ningaloo is a good 15 hour drive north, Busselton Jetty is 2 hours south,

If you come over give me a yell and I'll be happy to show you round.
