Just a quick thanks to Mark, Annabel and the team at LDC for a truly great weekend!
The midges were fiersome, so the best place to be was submerged. I did 5 dives (Shuna, Thesis, Hispania, Rondo, Calve Island) but some of the guys made it 7 by also doing the Swan and Lochaline Pier :001_smile:
Having stayed at the LDC several times before, but not since 2003, I was deeply impressed by the upgrading work that's been done inside and out. The en-suite shower rooms in the bunk house are hotel-quality, with slate and wood finishes and high quality sanitary ware:

Outside, what I remember as a weed-strewn gravel area outside the kitchen, has been turned into a really nice decking area for bbq's and so on:

Mark was an excellent skipper and managed to put us in slackish  water on every wreck. Three dives a day was a nice touch too.
As for the Sound Diver, it's a beautiful boat to dive from: very spacious when you're kitting up, and the lift is a huge luxury when getting back on board:

Thanks also to Urchin for organising a terrific weekend! :)
See you all again soon I hope.
