Make sure you don't fail in your responsibilities as a buddy! At least, not while in Australia.
"Scuba man jailed for wife's death"
"Prosecutors said he had failed in his duty as his wife's dive buddy."
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8084405.stm
Although it does appear there might be a bit more to this ....
"In mid-2008 a coroner found it was likely Watson killed his wife by holding her underwater and turning off her air supply. "
Should the courts convict someone for what the prosecutors thought was murder by now adding the possibility of going to jail for failing to be a good buddy?
Will you be thinking twice about buddying someone you don't know if you might go to jail for doing it badly?

I read about this about six months ago and according to the article about it the guy was really creepy after the death of his wife and there was something about an insurance policy and he made some remark about at least her breasts would be firm and perky, sounded like a real nasty guy:eek:. the article went on to list many things that had happened. So just goes to show crime doesn't pay
there must be more to it than meets the eye, only been married a few days or sooo.....
make you think twice who you buddy up with

You can go to jail for being a bad buddy.
Bear that in mind when deciding whether or not to buy me a pint after a dive.:001_tt2:
I'm sure I remember reading about this too.
I thought they where seen hugging underwater and someone clocked him turning off her air :001_huh:
