lost a black split fin in a mtr of water at the green shutters largs last sunday doing training dives only got the fins at christmas went back on weds night for a look but no joy :mad:
Where are the green shutters in Largs? I am down that way quite often - I will have a look for you.:)
green shutters tea room next to the ferry slip you go down the old slip right in front of the cafe on to the beach if low water quite slippery its quite good for a quick in and out especially the evening. usually see dogfish a nice trumpet fish on the last dive at 30mtrs . we go there for training mostly .went in to lomo asked to buy another set of splits said i had lost one . the guy went in and came out with one fin so half the price . good service . :)
My mate lost a red ankle weight there years ago. I thought he was mad to go back the next day at low tide to look for it. (for the fuel cost he could have bought a new pair!) However he did and he found it! Worth having a look around.

Have a look on Finstrokes Forum. Lost And Found.. Budgy 1 has a list of things he has found, and a split fin like yours at the right place is one of them:)
ps. He stays in Kilmarnock so it might be easy for you to collect.
