Good days diving at The Slates today pity about the crap weather but Regthing has been blamed for that.

1st Dive was to 40+m running deco tables for a 50m dive with BT of 20m and doing all required stops as per Ian's dive plan. Nicely narked at 41m and slightly overweighted for the dive but okay. Everyone carried out deco stops and gas switching correctly and Ian was Happy !!!!

2nd Dive was just myself and Loudy; The wise went to the pub; down to 27m, then back along the reef at AVG of around 15m. Couple of Dogfish and Wrasse but not much else.

1st dives with my VR3 - Happy

I did laugh after the first dive when you said at depth the VR3 made no sense to you "just a bunch of numbers that was out of focus":D

Aye crackin day (apart from the weather, which mysteriously cleared on the way home  ). Nice to get a stage cylinder on at last (cheers Loudy for the loan). Thanks to Iain for the training and thanks to the Cachaig in Glencoe for the post dive tipple, definately one of the best locations for a pub in Britain.

Yes, they need to make a narcosis option on the VR3 :D

Really enjoyed my dive yesterday and managed to hit 45m - a new deepest dive for me :D

First dive with both the twinset and stage and it all felt quite comfortable. Tons of simulated deco, but it didn't really feel as long as it was - 32 minutes in total of ascent time.

Cheers to Ian and all the guys for a good dive.

Give yourselves a good pat on the back......excellent dive, good gas switches, good deco profile and a first class job from Dive leader and Assistant Instructor Loudy:) it all brought a tear to my eyes:D
