any idea where?? - i know it says to be confirmed but a general area hint please..
im diving mull on friday so might be able to do a wee detour for an extra dive and of course put faces to names :p
EDIT: thats if im allowed to join in of course!
Nope - It's March and I have still got around 90 motors to get out so no chance. If this dive is for the course I'm doing then please plan if for a weekend and not a week night, if it's not then enjoy.
I won't be diving next weekend (28th and 29th) but weekend after that would be fine for course dives.

Unlikely.:(
Some of us have to work for a living.:p But keep me informed, you never know.;)
I'll be at LIDS next week so no diving for me then either.

Me Shirty - No, When I get shirty you'll know all about it :D:D.
On a serious note though, can't really dive during the week as I work in Glasgow and it's not really practical to take all my gear to work and I'm pretty fecked after a day at work anyway. Course dives really need to be at the weekend for me, I up for getting an early start and not to bothered where we do them, though for the Trimix dives, I quite fancy The Slates (Easy to get Deep). The only one I'm not keen on is the Kintyre, to far a swim to get to depth and to much hassle getting in and out the water for me.
What about the wall at Lochaline ??? or whatever it's called? Anyway no great rush, as long as I've got my Trimix ticket for 1st of June.

It is a fair swim and hard to plan but you also have a nice gradual ascent with loads of life on the pipe to keep you occupied during deco.

I'll wait until we've got a RHIB :D

Count me in for the Kintyre.:)
The Slates is easy depth but there's feck all reason to be down there. All the life's at 15 - 20M. Something to see on your deep stop maybe.

I think the slates is a pretty dull dive, aye plenty of depth and the odd cuckoo wrasse but not much else going for it.

Its a good enough site if you do your depth away from the spit. There's a fair bit of life in the bay to the right and you can still get 50M. Twin Tanks found a 12" pipefish at 40M last time we were there and I've seen video of a John Dory so there's definitely life there somewhere. Just needs a bit of hunting. Most life still at 15 - 20M though.
Aye but it's easy to get to and easy to get in and out so perfect for Trimix Training Dives where I'll not be bothered about looking at anything apart from my timer and tables :D I want to get lots of 50m+ dives done before HF trip

Hmmm, maybe best to leave that one where it is tho', seeing as it's a mooring!;)
as long as I've got my Trimix ticket for 1st of June.
You need to pass the course ,you don't get the ticket for attendance :D

Don't think so mate. I'll probably be over at the shop picking up some scafolding that I need to return on Friday :(
If I can get over on Tuesday night instead I'm in. I'll angle for that but it will depend on the job being finished..
Only got 100 bar in my stage (it rolled open in the my boot after the last dive :o) so don't go daft on the dive plan :)

Good dive planning, using half rule for deco and 15 bar reserve......35 bar should do the trick:rolleyes:
