EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE COURSE

Hi guys Im looking to orginise an EFR course to refresh these fundemental skills that every diver should posess.

Is this a diving specific EFR course or a general one.

I need to do one every 4 years for the Scouts. Just wondered if it covered the same stuff.

I think its a general one which covers diving related injurys Il have a look in the instructor manual for a more accurate description

I did one through the Scout Assoc. a few weeks a go. It is a good course to do. As the title say, it takes you through what to do in an emergancy if you're first at the scene. VERY relevant for divers. It covers basic first aid, CPR, strokes etc as well as what information to record and pass on to the emergancy services.
