Skills Workshop

[NorthernTechnical]

There will be a skills Workshop on the 12th April for the guys taking part in the Subs trips with us.
It will give us all a chance to get together, put some faces to names and get involved in diving as a team. The deco staion will also be in use on the day.
The first dive will be at Furnace Quarry small wreck and the second at the Tearooms for loads of skills.

Its a shame that. How about looking at doing something on loch long one evening?

Great Stuff and I can make that Wednesday, would be good to have a chat about the deco trapese if thats what we are planning to use on the U74/77, I guess you use some kind of tagging system.


I'd be happy to arrange the odd night down here to go over some skills.

I'm definitely up for skills practice and meeting everyone from the U74 trip beforehand. I've marked the 15th of April on my calendar, but it may conflict with a last minute trip to Egypt or Tanzania that's in the works.

Weeknights this month and in April could also work for me. Even if we can't find the perfect date and time to all get together before the 2nd May, it looks like there will be no shortage of diving in smaller groups and plenty of blether about dive plans on and off line!

Gareth, you wanna meet up over a laptop or in the water in the next few weeks (except next week)? Anyone interested in a midweek evening dive, the week after next (16-20th March)?

I guess you use some kind of tagging system.

I hope they use tags.
I'm no lover of the trapeze (however for your application it is porbably is a good thing) but the last time out a pencil was used to sign in/out.
The pencil tip broke (:rolleyes:) and goodness knows how it was decided to release the jump over deep. (there was a shallow release too).
Tags are the way to go.

All this will be discussed when we get together, and see what the bulk of the divers want. In regards to pencils, diverite do a nice solid graphite....no snapping:D
