Hi,

Central Scuba is no longer is operational as far as i am aware. Alex seemed to disappear overnight and have never heard anything from him for a couple of years now and i used to dive with them all the time.

Hi All,
Glad to see you are still asking about me!

It is true I have become a dad and got married and all that.
My son is almost a year old!

The decision to shut down Central Scuba as a commercial, recreational and technical teaching facility was not easy but after much deliberation was the best option.
The local authorities closed our training pool a few months ago, with no accessible alternative, This also meant we would no longer be doing our usual Up4It try dives, (almost 500 try dives over the school holidays).
As the costs were rising, legislation was making it more awkward, equipment testing blah blah , the recent closure of our local pool and I was owed too much money to justify my pleasure in teaching as all of you who know me, knew it was a life style venture.
One good thing thou, I will have more time to do my own diving and photography, and I can get in to my garage! I think some of the local club members will be happy as we have offloaded a whole lot of kit at bargain prices!

I still am an active instructor but only where the sun shines and the pay is good, that hasnt changed!!

I will be back activly diving in Scotland in the next few weeks, the first since last summer, so I will be looking looking for a Cold Water Scottish Diver refresher dive.
Any offers?

Regards
Alex:)
