I'm a member of Coatbridge ScotSAC - I'll let our members know that way they can keep an ear/eye open for it.

I am so sorry for you, it's sickening when things get stolen, you have my full sympathies. A few years ago all my horses tack was stolen, I wish you luck in recovery.

Sorry to hear :( just and idea would be to go on ebay and stick in your postcode and see if any gear matching the description is on there.

That is really rotten. Would it be covered by his house insurance? Its' still a pain having to start from scratch again:mad:

My house was burgled just before I went to the Dive Show. I drove home hoping they'd nicked my kit so I could replace it all on the insurance.:D

No such luck though so still got the leaky suit and had to use my own cash at the Dive Show.:p

thanks everyone

for you kind words and offers of help, my muckers kit was at work so not covered by insurance, the dive club has rallied round making sure that most of the kit is replaced

i have posted this on finstrokes and also bsac and yorkshire divers, most of the club are watching fleabay, crossed fingers something turns up.

never nice when this kind of stuff happens as it will only be of use to another diver, my mucker was saying that the bit is most annoying is that some of the kit is old but it just works like his mask that has a prefect seal

i have the thieving scrote get was whats coming to him

I had some gear stolen a year or so ago, the cops were very good, they reconed that this type of specialised gear would be sold down south as its easily recognisable so wouldnt be sold where it could be spotted ie fleabay.
