No this isn't a navigation question... I am an east coast guy and a lot of the activity on this site is west coast (OK I know the clue is in the name) so I was just wondering where we all live (the sub-title is Scottish Scuba Forum after all!).
I'm using the regions that the MET office use here http://www.meto.gov.uk/ to keep it simple...

Good poll, Ian :)
Sorry to be a pest, but I live bang on the margin between SW & SE, so not sure which to select ;)

I would have to say SW, but pretty close to the "border" (not far from Charlie).
/Colin.
South East for me.........but on the North of the South East.....I mean on the top side of the South East.....err never mind.
SE Scotland.

I am a Weegie and do most of my sea diving off the west coast but I live in the north-west... of England unfortunately. Hopefully moving back up next year.
I'd rather drive 3hrs to the lochs (or not dive at all) than dive in the quarries that are about 1hr away.

Mon the Weegies!
I should confess that I'm also a weegie by birth (even grew up in Eastwood! ). However, I've since emigrated to the dryer climes of Stirlingshire. ;)
I'll try to get some kind of members map for the site, that you can put your location on it. I think they have something like this at YD ...

Some people think i live in Glasgow, but i actually live on a tiny wee invisible planet just behind Earth's moon. It is inhabited by me and my imaginary friends.

it seems fairly intuitive to use ... any probs, let me know
Very nice feature, Gord! :)
From looking at the satellite imagery of your entry, I have to ask if you live in a tree house?
Actually, you're lucky that you live in an area with hi res satellite coverage; we're not so honoured out in the sticks! They've also got our road title wrong, but that's a problem with all of the online maps that I've seen: someone must have entered the inaccurate details into a database at some time and it's never been corrected.
i'm just at the top of that cul de sac ...
not quite a tree house, but when the winter winds blow in off fenwick moor, it feels like it sometimes ...

That is cool.It is funny to see your own house:D
i live 10 balloon widths from airmonster. small world :)
I found it a bit awkward to get an exact position, as the image was taken before my house was built
Bill ... just stick your balloon somewhere nearby ...
probably better like that anyway ... less danger of stalkers ... ;)

that's quite a cool idea...
though i am disappointed. I've had a look out my window, and there isn't a big balloon attached to my flat :(

Do you think this could be used to pin-point the dive sites that have dive descriptions? (Probably one for Gord!)
It would make finding the dive sites a bit easier....
Just an idea, what do you think?
/Colin. :D
was thinking the same myself. Leave it with me (i'm a bit laid up with flu at present )

You don't mean.. nooo.. you mean .. me???? Well..i have perhaps put on a couple of pounds since i stopped smoking. (4 weeks and going strong!!)
I like Airmonster's idea of having the dive sites on it... would be mighty handy for sussing out the ones you haven't dived before.

The last 3 posts on this poll have been spam posts for some kind of disc drive cleaner or anti spyware.
