I saw this on the SSAC website
For those of you that dive around Dunbar Harbour (Castle Rock, Johnson’s Hole, Yetts, off the old battery etc), you should note that the old lifting bridge to the north side of the harbour will be removed on Monday 9th October 2006
What about some of you east coasters writing up a dive descriptions for these sites....;)

I did my Divemaster site map years ago (12 now that I think about it:eek: ) for Johnson's Hole. I'll have to see if I've got it knocking around anywhere, I did it on Autocad so I might even have the file on a disk. Did it on a low spring tide where the whole place was nearly dry, got away by just walking about without doing a single dive on it :)

They are just taking the bridge away? Will there be a new one?
Is that the one that accesses the outer wall, and if so, does that mean there will be no access to the usual entry point for Johnson's Hole?

You're most welcome, Ian. Do you dive at Dunbar throughout the winter? We've only ever headed to the east coast from our club in the summer, but I'd quite fancy the odd trip over there during the cooler months too.
