Took this pic at a site not far from Triple reef few weeks ago, Not sure what it is ... looked like some sort of Scorpion fish but , not been a betting man, I wouldn't put money on it. Sorry bout quality of pic it's not great.

Does resemble a scorpion fish of some sort although very pale in colour from what i am used to seeing :confused: hmmm
I'm sure Dive Tramp has said before that you can see Scorpion Fish in a range of colours.
I'm sure he'll put you right ;)

They can change their colour to suit their background, Full Red, mottled red, grey, black, orange, mottled orange, yellow....you get the picture?
at that distance, you can use either Zoom or a macro shot and zoom to get "closer" to your target. Your strobe or torch has "bleached out" the bottom where it's lying but you can see clearly the colour of the sand around it. Nice shot tho.
