Just back from a Port Napier weekend
Very good wreck first dive mostly swam around the outside, second dive mostly inside she still has stuff like toilet bowls (well in bits) plates etc, onboard. And a couple of guns on the outside
Vis wasn’t amazing but good enough about 5-6m
I’d recommend this as a club trip very easy wreck for beginners but also good for seasoned divers its pretty shallow don’t think we went past 16metres thus a 60min and 70min dive
Plus the whole high/low slack tide doesn’t matter that much.
The best Wreck I’ve done in UK waters. (The HMS Swan best outside UK) well so far.

I dived it this year too - had a really good dive. Nice wreck to have a guddle about it! Lots of bits and bobs about!

Its one of only a few wrecks where you feel completley safe swimming through the whole wreck, as there are lots of places to exit. This was the first wreck I entered at one end and exited the other, and the first time I dived over 100 mins under water. Urchin has organised a few dives on the Port Napier, dont know if its the wreck or the partys at night that makes her go back.....
