View Full Version : Falls of Lora
Its far too late for this stuff, but for your viewing pleasure, here is a video of yesterdays Congeralley trip to the Falls of Lora. Its not very good but gives you an idea of the speed of the current (eh, Mogwai? :D )
Enjoy

Chris,
Looks fast :).
What was your dive profile like? Staying at roughly the same depth or ascending/ descending rapidly with the current?

Glad I did my 2 dives on the Breda:eek:
Haven't looked at the profile on the computer, but from memory, we went to to c 28m and then swam along the contour rising to about 25m. Then, after 20 minutes, we started up the slope and got to about 15m, with the top of the rise around 10m. After that we were drawn up the slope by the water and then shot out horizontally. The main drift in the falls took us along between 10 and 15m depth, without being pulled up or down too much. It was easy enough to move depth, but any actual movement slowed by the speed of the water horizontally. When we finally ascended we were pulled upwards and then downwards a couple of times, maybe by up to 5m.
Me next......but it's not very good, but after taking the footage, thought I'd still post.
