Starfish was good, got video of 3 of them. Is it still a starfish with 7 arms or is it something else?

The wreck was good. c 60ft trawler, very intact with masts still upright, booms (or whatever they are) out to the side, winch gear on the back. sitting upright on c25m with the deck just above 20m. Rudder etc still in place - not sure about the prop as I didn't leave Jennifer to go down and check it out. Covered in anenomies.

Saw porposies as well (on the surface) but the video is just of black spots.

Jennifer is a bit disappointed that the lobster int he video doesn't look as big as it did at the time. The claws were thicker than her arms!

Yes Peter, it's still a starfish and to be precise, it's a Luida ciliaris, Seven (who'd have thought it?)Legged Starfish. Sometimes, tho rarely, they can have 8 legs! Don't be surprised if you see them with irregular length legs as they can get, erm, damaged and then start to re-grow!

Technically speaking, Starfish come from the same family as Sea Urchins and Feather Stars, Echinoderms ;)

Nice one Peter.
I have posted the URL on the LOTSAC website so they can have a wee look if they feel like it.
Cheers JB.

Nice one Peter. I also liked the starfish. Don't often see them moving that fast.
Shame about the ugly b*ggers from DSAC but you can't have everything.:D
Looks like it was a good weekend. Sorry I couldn't make it.:(

To be hoinest, we didn't really dive the isles, but the lochs around them. It was too rough to go all the way out. However the wreck was great, really complete!
