Ding's original guide - (the 5 star one) which has 3 comments, the last from Stewart, has 'Not found on server' if you click to open the site guide.

A second entry below headed 'The Kintyre' has the siteguide opening properly on it.

This occurred during Gord's working on the 'internals' of the website.

Gord, maybe they could be reunited again as a single entry?.

Hi. We're on it every couple of months. It very hand as the club RIB (not RHIB ;) ) is moored in the Kip Marina so it's only a 10min skim over the waves to get to her.

Worth noting if you have boat access is that there is a shot line on her bow. It also gives you a bit more time on the wreck if you're staying within deco limits as the swim from the shore and back isn't that short.

RIB availalbe if you fancy it.

Great info, Scott. :D

Is the shot line attached to the white buoy? Diving from a boat would certainly be fun: would give a lot more time on the wreck as you stated.

cheers!

Hi Charlie.
It used to be a white buoy but it disap.......

There is a new one on it but I can't remember the colour (it might be blue but I could be thinking of a mooring we marked for someone a few weeks back). It should be the only one in the area. I'll need to take note of some transits the next time we're there.

I like this wreck. Lots of colourful life. And it was my first *hands behind back, looking and the ground with flushed cheeks and twisting my big toe into the ground :o *

Yeah, the only buoy we could see in the area looked like white from the shore. It was quite a long way out which is consistent with the dive I guess.

cheers

nice blog Charlie, well written & exciting to read.
glad you achieved your goal & all went to plan.
but... whats your new goal now? ;)
a deeper wreck, same wreck but deeper down?

two interesting quotes from your blog....

After touching the structure (why did I feel compelled to do that?) I felt mesmerised for a moment. Success!

Surprisingly, I didn't perceive any effects of nitrogen narcosis during the dive.
beware the euphoric deep ;)

Thanks for the kind comments.

Got a few ideas as you can imagine. ;)

Wonder if a club RHIB could make it to the Andrea Doria?

You're spot on. There must have been some degree of narcosis. I felt good... too good? Maybe.

Wise words, stew.
