I'm introducing a new rule for Conger Alley, as you will see in the front page panel on Rule and Regs:
Rule 3: No harrassing or heavy criticism of commercial operators such as local dive shops and PADI training outfits.
I'm sorry that it's come to this. It's obviously been precipitated by the recent thread about Nitrox at Aquatron, but it's something I've considered before. There have been threads on other forums where boat operators and other small businesses have been attacked, and it has always been my ambition that Conger Alley would not be like that.
I realise that this means that some people will stop using Conger Alley and I'm truly sorry about that. This has been a very tough call. But if you want to give any particular small business a hard time, then this is not the forum to do it on. Maybe it's because i've run small businesses myself in the past and I know how hard it is that I'm so sensitive about this. Nevertheless, this rule is here to stay.
