At St Catherine's today, I was attracted by a strange blue crab under a rock and took it's photo.
Only when I got home and saw it on the screen did I realise it was dead!:o
Still a worthwhile shot of the squattie on top of it tho?

To be fair, it was well back under a rock and didn't look so clear by torchlight. The photo has the benefit of the camera flash.:o:o
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.:p

I think it's a great picture, sums up the cycle of life underwater; stuff dies, other stuff eats the dead stuff.
I'm hoping I can get some decent shots* up in Scapa next week but, as its a wet film camera** , I won't know until I get home.
*What am I saying, there'll be pictures of that fud Wilson amongst them:p
**Motormarine 11 with external strobe, strobe arm, wide angle and macro lenses, brand new o-rings and a Jessops case for it all - 60 quid from my friend fleabay.
Colours on the green crab are excellent, good shots!
