Very sad news;

It has now been confirmed that the diver involved was Ken Farrow.
Many Scottish and wider-UK BSAC divers will have known Ken, as NDO Sean Gribben has noted;
"Ken was an ex Regional Coach for North Scotland, BSAC Vice-Chairman, an excellent National Instructor, ITS instructor, NDC member and Chairman of SCOTFED.
He was a great stalwart for BSAC and its teaching methodolgy and was behind, and contributor to, the original NDC bulletin."
Ken also reached a wider, non-BSAC, audience by writing many articles for various diving magazines, including Scottish Diver, particularly on technical diving topics.
Personally, I had the pleasure of meeting Ken in my early years of diving and again more recently whilst teaching on IFCs in Aberdeen.
He will be sadly missed.
