Place in River Etive

A friend was diving in the River Etive last Saturday and was very surprised to see a place (complete with red spots) about 2 km form the sea.

That would be a PLAICE then. Or was it a FLOUNDER also with red/orange spots, that can put up with brackish (ie, not completely salty water) and are quite often found way, way up river. I've caught Flukes, as they're known, way up the River Tay, at Perth! ;)
