Finding these 10 cm egg balls all over St Abbs area. ID ?????? any ideas.

most likely they're from some kind of nudibranch, or sea snail. I don't recognise those ones specifically, but I'll see what I can find out...

i'd go along with the nudibranch ID

Oh Good, Does this mean we can expect to see lots of Spanish Dancers there this year?

Maybe, tho' they do fall prey to predators rather easily in their juvenile state...:eek:

It's the eggs of a Tritonia hombergii Cuvier, 1803
