Yeah , awesome bit at the end with the octopus - seen that bit before though :(
Found some great octopus clips on Youtube a while back , look for the one where it kills the shark in the aquarium - unbelievable !
Also a slightly disturbing one of a giant octopus attacking a diver , can't have been very pleasant !
Cheers JB.

That is fantastic. You can see why people miss things when they just 'take off' and don't actually look for things. Great stuff:D
I do love octopus and you really do need to know what you are looking for to see them. Spotted them quite a few times at St Abbs but they are usually very disguised. Seen them on every dive I have done in Majorca and a few in Gran Canaria, both rocky areas more than coral. I do prefer cephalopods to most other sea based animals to dive with.

Too true !
I had the pleasure of spotting one at St Abbs last summer.
Well , when I say I ,I mean my buddy did.
I thought he had gone off his nut as he was pointing very excitedly at what looked to me like a stone sitting on the sandy bottom.
A gentle poked revealed its true nature however !
Got some nice pictures and a couple of crap video clips.
Fascinating wee things though and apparently very unusual to see one out 'free swimming' as it were.
:)
