the patter you get from fourth element sounds good, but I can't help thinking i'll look like a wee pot bellied bugger in a gimp suit!!.But when you think what a bloody hassle it is putting on the lomo 5ml that I have, which sticks up the sheugh of my shulpit wee bum when it's on,I can't help thinking how easy it would be to put it on,then again, maybe I could get away with sticking on my chillcheater!!

sounds just like Bubblemaker who was going to reimburse me at one time, in the dark and distant past, for a holiday, but bought himself a camera instead!!:(
I have Berghaus thermals. they are very thin but amazingly warm:)

On your first dive I sugest u set the camera up at exposure manual and adjust by the brightness on the LCD, ISO 50, white balance cloudy or auto, wide angle, only use the internal flash when really close otherwise light with a torch using a difusser. this would be a good starting point, but trial and error will find the best way. But remember the golden rules, get as close as u can and try to point the camera upwards when taking pictures. cheers enjoy.

hi there ding,
I'm going to tunisia on sunday, but I'm only going snorkelling.I'll try the above, plus auto, the housing has a wee diffuser which slots into a space in front of the flash.Would this work the same?

Keep the diffuser in it gives a bigger angle of coverage but reduces the distance of the flash. Important when snorkeling get below the subject and snap horizontally or upwards and get as close as possible.
I use bog standard M&S thermal simmit & longjohns. Though I need to remember to put on the longjohns on the right way round, causes havock when I need to go!
