Just before Christmas I bought myself an Underwater Housing for my (also Xmas pressie to me!) Fuji F50. Unfortunately I found a small leak on it when I operated some of the buttons. I contacted the supplier about it and I must say I'm HUGELY impressed by their response!
When first contacting them by E-mail, I recieved a reply within an hour, expressing their regret for my inconvenience and how to return the faulty item.
The outcome is, that I sent the housing back to them this Wednesday morning (5th March) by "Signed for " recorded delivery. I was gobsmacked to recieve my replacement housing THIS afternoon (Friday 7th March), complete with, my choice of "sorry" gift, a 1Gb Memory card.
A very BIG thankyou must go out to David at Great Digital Deals of Wolverhampton.

If we are going to be luvvy duvvy to suppliers, I would like to say a BIG thank you to Metal Sub.
I fell in love with their hand held, torch at The Dive show in 2006 (NEC) but was too bloody miserable to pay the £360 they wanted and settled for a FAMI instead which flooded first time in the water! (Refund from Stoney Cove without argument so Brownie Points there too.)
Then bought my Metalsub from an American E-Bay supplier for £260 plus another £20 P&P.
This failed recently, USA guy did not reply to my e-mails and the UK distributor would not entertain me. I contacted Metalsub in The Netherlands and they said to send it direct to them which I did. Returned within 7 days with a new circuit card FOC.

A refreshing thread!
Usually these days, people only motivate themselves to highlight service when the quality has been aspiring to mediocrity.
It's a real delight to find a thread highlighting good service (which usually gets taken for granted), more power to positive feedback threads!

Now if I was a cynical kind of a guy I might suggest that actual real , genuine , good ,service is so RARE that it warrants front page news.
But I'm not :O)

I had an appointment with a lawyer yesterday. I asked the fee before I started, when we had completed the business he said as I was nice he might modify the fee:D No cheeky comments please:D What goes arond comes around or Karma, if you like.

Mind you , you didn't say whether he modified it up or down !
