That's a very good price, I'm tempted. Where are the classroom sessions and when and where are the practicals?

It is a very very good price.

Can somebody write up a report of the course and let us all know how it goes.

I have been toying with doing the TDI Adv Nitrox & Deco combined and it usually costs around £400-£500.

This course looks roughly the equivalent qualification.
50 Metres on Air + up to 100% O2 to decompress.

That is one hell of a saving....

Now, if I wanted to do the course, where would I find someone relatively nearby who almost certainly has that very book to lend me;)

HMM OLD man you tempted to cross to the darkside, actually i think you would not gain that much outta fundies other than your weird 80% mix in your stage and that strange air stuff you insist on breathing to 30 metres.

The price for adv nitrox n deco is that an atlantic divers price or is that Ian's normal price?

It isn't always air, sometimes I stand close to the intake on the Clutha and add my own special flavour. I suppose that makes it 'strange' though.

I am qualified to use 100% but in a certain shop I ask for 80%, get 90 odd, but pay for 80. Tight as a duck's arse in a following sea me:p

Wouldn't mind using nitrox in the twins either but I'm not sure I want to hand them to someone to clean only to find they don't actually have to O2 to put in them. Not that that could happen, ever, to anyone, in the west of Scotland, at all, ever...

Was that in the gloriously run down Sea & Ski in East Kilbride? Mikey's other place never managed to quite capture the same atmosphere of Arthur Daley's lock up :)

I did my Advanced Nitrox there too, pre-Cammy. Well, almost... in the wheelchair place next door...

Just checked my card, almost 13 yrs ago to the day! Oh my gawwwwrd! I started early, honest!!!

Cheers,

Stuart

Nah, some of the guys from Neptune branch up at Faslane organised Cammy to come and run the course at the sailing centre in the base. The more bods they had, the lower the cost; so I managed to blag a spot on it.

It was an 'interesting' teaching style Cammy used.

Can't find the card for it but I reckon it was '93 or '94.
