Well I have made a few mods to my camera and if this lot works, I am buying a tray, flexible arm and led light.

The lens adapter was from fleabay and is designed to fit most compact cameras, doesnt say anything about underwater housings, but is very adaptable and its been underwater with no issues.

The lenses are similar to to ones olddog mentioned on here and again from fleabay

Took this photo of a flower to see the macro capability

I was planning on testing it all last tuesday, but lenses didnt arrive until today, bl00dy lazy posties. Not diving next week but the week after, might be able to squeeze a trip up to loch long, to try it out on some macro stuff.

Its an old Canon v3. It is about 4years old and was/is the family camera. I was going to invest in better camera, but I get not too bad shots with this and with the macro and a try, they are completely interchangeable so no money wasted, only money is the housing which I got from fleabay for £25 and I am sure will probably be able to get £25 again if I sell it.

Hope the new tray you have on order has a knurled nut with a threaded drilling like my Sun Pack one. The new tray will mount on the tripod fixing that you are using to mount the lens caddy. If it has a drilling like mine then your mount will just screw into the lower section of the knurled tray nut.

On a separate note I found my lenses rated at less than 10+ had little effect underwater. Its says you can stack the set but the bubble entrapment on just one was bad enough. All said £20 for a poor mans macro set. worth a punt.

Indeed, do let us know how you get on, I'd love to get into lenses but the expense is the major turn off. The proper adaptor for mounting lenses on my housing is £50 alone, even the bargain lens set at £170 on ebay (mentioned here not too long ago) is out of my financial range at present.
