had an email a week or so ago from karen at loch fyne dive charters. she is looking to fill some places on little blue over the march weekend. anyone interested ? give her a buzz on 01880 820508 to see whats still available.
( apologies for bad typing. i am on the computer in work and the caps button doesn't work)
my place is already booked for both days :D too far to travel for just one days diving
Where are they actually based? There is nothing on their website :confused:
I fancy it but need to figure out if I need to stay over night or drive through in the morning.
The boat is berthed in Tarbet, on loch fyne (not loch lomond - apparebntly that confuses a few poeple) south of lochgilphead.
Plenty of B&B accomodation within a mile. The website has a few recommendations.
I'll probably stay fri night and sat night so if anyone fancies a cheeky wee dive fri afternoon / evening that'd be super :D

That's really strange - I've never heard of Carse - don't think it exists. The bit that has the name on the map is where the fire station is.
Tarbert is a reasonably large village and is a lovely place to spend the weekend - there must be more pubs along that harbour than any other in Scotland.
We dived with Loch Fyne Divers last September and had 4 good dives - only problem is that there is very little shelter on the boat so I'm not inclined to dive on it in winter - too cold!

yep afraid so but staying over in tabert on the sat night ... my partner will be working on sunday afternoon so i will need to get home to watch our son. should have time for a single dive on the sun but as little blue is filled for that day we will prob just stop somewhere along the way on the way home.

You're coming from Moray is that right? It's a hell of a long way for just one dive. We've booked one of the hotels on the front there.We usually stay there when we go to Tabert ... it's basic but clean. Could get ya name and number if ya like?
Looking forward to meeting ya on Little Blue. Ya'll know me lol my drysuit is probably older than me. As someone commented a while ago " its a nice bit of glue held together by some material" ... cheeky bugger . My buddy is convinced he's a Mel Gibson look a like .. maybe ya could tease him a bit lol

thanks but as i'll be bringing the non diving other half and the pooch i'm looking at B&B's and the lodges....
i tend to blend in with my yellow & red drysuit, illuminous yellow coat and purple hair :eek: so you might not notice who i am....:D
