Chris & I, probably Scott (Regthing) & Steve (Mr Flibble) plan to be back out in Loch Long for a dive. Anyone else interested?

Options - Twin Piers, 29 Steps, GDRE, or back to A Frames, Caves, or CA.

Meet Pitstop at 1830 again?

That is a nod from me too.

Keen to pop my Twin Piers, 29 Steps or GDRE cherries.

Peter is going to come too, although he is moaning about getting there for 1830.

Never dived 29 steps or GDRE and would only do twin piers again if forced, its not that great!

Yep me to.

Might have Dan coming too with some of his home made lights :)

Sounds like if there is going to be a good handful of us, we need a good area for cars so that rules out Caves.

So is this your trip Chris. What are you doing about the weather? ;)

Mr Flibble

Scott, I seem to remember it continually pissing down last night. No doubt this was due to Alex organising and not you. :D One of those dive were you go to 30m come out bone dry, then end up soaked at the car.

Plenty parking at 29 steps and can easily do a second dive at A frames if you wish as they are only a few hundred m from each other. A training site really, but fine to visit if you've not been there before.

Have to give this one a miss :o.

Please arrange the time and meeting place for yourselves.

Sorry,

That's a shame. Chris is organising this one anyway ;)

Wouldnt mind Conger or Finnart (a frames) then, as I know them. Wouldnt like to do 29 steps at night without daoing at day without a guide.

Give me your preference for A frames or Conger Alley:
Looks like its Me, Mr Flibble , Regthing, PeterM, and possibly Dan

A frames would be good. Did Conger last week.

Anywhere is fine with me. Shame you can't make it Alex.

A- Frames it is for 1830 then. Weather isnt looking to great with a strong westerly and rain forecast, but you never know once Scott arrives and brings his own individual weather front with him.

I will be packing my stuff in the car tonight, however if its really bad weather might call off, hopefully not, so see you guys there!

I was thinking the same. Pack the car and keep an eye on the weather. Pretty sh1tty at the moment :(

Bunch of wimps. The Loch is well sheltered. Anyway it'll have blown itself out by then. See you at 6.30 (maybe). :D

Mr Flibble
31-01-08, 15:19
OK you wimps still going?

regthing
31-01-08, 15:43

The Erskine Bridge is closed to high sided vehicles and it's hails stones now.....

Might be an idea to leave it until next week :(

chris

yeah, calling it...its too stupid to attempt a dive in this weather. Peter and I wont be going..maybe next week as you say.

Snow is starting to lie in the higher parts of Edinburgh, although I am down lower now and it's only wet - it wasn't an ecouraging sign for driving by Storling or Harthill to get over.

It's lovely and sunny over here in Dumbarton, I've been out sunbathing in front of the office all day. The ice cream van has run out of ices and we are about to light up the bbq. Honest.

Ya bunch a wimps a wee bit of snow, hail, rain, wind, sleet, falling trees, falling masonry, 20 foot high waves, ice and you run for cover. Call yourselves men? :D

PeterM

This from the guy wearing the floppy dame hat!

Mr Flibble

Thats not me thats Arnold Judas Rimmer (aka Chris Barrie), .............I'm the one next to him (with his fist up my jacksie) :D I'm on the lookout for a Mr Flibble glove puppet you can get them off ebay. Not sure about the gingham dress and the army boot though.

PeterM

I need better glasses - this is why I never see anything diving!
