Poor soul. It brings tears to your eyes just watching it:(
This is *not* a go at anyone, but...
I dunno if it's being in too many impacts or treating the results but I just don't get any pleasure out of watching people hurt themselves :(
I find it very sad when I catch "you've been framed" or similar and there is a riot of canned laughter when people suffer obviously painful and sometimes damaging falls. I think it teaches a great deal of callousness and lack of empathy :(
Also not impressed with the speed of reaction of their medical team... people are throwing themselves off a very high ski jump.. I'd expect at least a bored first aider with some blankets waiting at the landing area!
But hey, maybe I'm just a boring old killjoy ;) never mind. He walked away and that is the main thing, bet it hurt in the morning though

I too can't stand 'have you been framed' for the same reason as you. i often wonder why people carry on filming when people are obviously hurt!!!
Are you a medical person. (me doing my nosy again);)
apologies if I offended anyone. That was not the intention, I dont think You've been Framed is aimed to offend either, remember the people in the videos are the ones that send the videos in, so presumably they want to share their "pain" to make other people laugh, otherwise they wouldnt send the clips in.
I agree there is probably too much of this stuff on youtube and the likes but sometimes people do stupid things and hurt themselves and its good to laugh at them, evolution is trying to sort out itself and get rid of the dumb ones.
I will post videos I think are funny elsewhere, apologies again!

I haven't seen the link (as it's blocked from my work), but personally, seeing someone hurt themselves during a sport or activety (as long as it's not me) makes me LMFAO. :D :D :D :D
Just like today, heard on the radio of the trapper in Canada who after maiming/killing/collecting a number of animals crashed his car and got one of his legs crushed/trapped under it, he lay for 4 days in agony being forced to eat the rotting carcasses of the animals he had killed. Finally found suffering from a broken leg and frostbite. To say I laughed is an understatement, I nearly crashed the car, now he knows how the animals he trapped must have felt before he either clubbed them to death or they died of exposure/blood loss/shock. Only pity is the guy who found him didn't club him over the head then rip his skin off.
anyone caught on camera is up for some lampooning in my book, even more so if your putting yourself through a 'high' risk activity which is being filmed for tv presentation...
more people watch formula one then switch it off after the first corner than them who actually watch the full race.
break a leg....;):D
p.s. if i ever catch anyone on cam doing something crazy under water, be sure that this will be one place it can be viewed.. you have been warned..:D
Only pity is the guy who found him didn't club him over the head then rip his skin off.
Note to self... be nice to Mr Flibble. ;)

Definitely. Don't stand in front of a camera if you don't want a record of it especially if you're doing something stupid. Certainly don't ever trust anyone with a camera :D
I have to agree here. I cant be bothered with all the "Youve Been Framed" stuff, for two reasons;
1. Its a sh*t program,
2. Its all old videos from similar American shows clearly shot in the 80s.... they never have ANY new stuff.
(Harry Hill is funny on TV burp though...)
Gogs
Ok, seeing as the majority feel it's OK. :o Here is a guy trying to break the mountain bike world speed record...
DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO IF YOU ARE OF A NERVOUS OR SQEEMISH DISPOSITION: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Swq9hBdvkKU
It gave me a bit of a shock when I first saw this clip, but I've since seen others with the guy laughing and smiling. He came out of it with a broken collar bone and a lot of bumps and bruises. Ouch!
apologies if I offended anyone....

No sorry Chris, I'm not offended and please do post more if you like. I guess you just caught me on a complaining day! Like I say, not my idea of entertaining but it doesn't upset me overly and I'm not the arbiter of taste on here, just another diver ;)
I just prefer the "near miss" videos to the "ouch" variety :o
Dive Granny, no I'm not a medical person really, been doing first aid for years and seem to have encountered more than my share of accidents out on the roads (generally arriving just after they'd happened before anyone doubts my own driving :p) so I've spent a fair time patching people up and handing them over to the professionals, long enough that I can almost manage a proper hand over! :D and being an ex motorbike courier and car nut I've had a few painful knocks myself
edited to add, this is the sort of thing I prefer ;)

I wasn't offended either I just thought 'Poor bloke'. They go some distance when they fall:D oops! that was meant to be:eek: I just hate to see people being hurt. Possibly a Mum/nursey thing:)
ps I have learnt to dodge 'certain people' with cameras especially at club parties:o
